Yet another Mediocre overrated show, NOT a hidden rough gem!

So I decided to find the best k drama shows and did extensive research into many lists, opinions and reviews. I determined that shows like Stranger, Beyond Evil, Signal, Through the Darkness, The Worst of Evil, Shadow Detective, Mouse and Life on Mars are the supposed top 8 what South Korea has to offer in the detective genre.
Shows like Train and MY PERFECT STRANGER didn't even make it into the top 30, they are the most mediocre of average shows. I fear what other K drama is worse than that but the toxic fandom over-hypes and rabidly defends.

Story is way too dragged and the pacing is horrendous.
Simply talking things out could solve so many problems, instead every single word has to be dragged and tortured out of each character. I get why they are doing it, to artificially prolong the show, but sometimes it is too much, enough is enough!
These shows could be concise 8 episode works and deliver a solid experience, yet they are dragged for 16 episodes and it becomes a slog.
Even letting it run in the background as white noise while playing on a second screen is not an option because how stupid the plot is.
While it had some funny moments, it was not enough to elevate the show. The romance is forced and there is no chemistry. Time Travel was incompetently done: characters blame the younger versions openly for things they haven't done yet. That was cringe asf.
Skip the first 8 episodes that do nothing for the story except provide slice of life. Sadly that is the garbage I have watched and dropped it. Everything else I skipped forward to see the villain and how it ends. I truly don't give af about this show anymore.

8 on IMDB? Laughable. 4/10 and that is already very generous from me.

Story is dragged and the pacing is bad.
Detectives hear a bag being thrown behind them and like game NPC go investigating the object instead of the entire location as if they got tunnel vision. Police officers are supposed to check corners. If the bag was thrown, it means someone must have thrown it, open your eyes and check instead of blindly stepping into a trap like a toddler!
MC is stupid but worst of all the intelligence of viewers is insulted, there are two versions of each character in the parallel worlds. They are very different versions, knowing that the MC naively and blindly assumes the best of others. I already knew who the criminal was since episode 3! Then MC acts mind-shattered and heartbroken at the supposed "revelations", like my dude, those are not your people, you don't know them, stop assuming so much. Is he supposed to be a detective or a high school kid?! Because the intelligence is at that low level.

It was a semi-watchable white noise on a second screen but nothing more.
